On this page, you will find instructions on some of the most common problems with Savonia Moodle courses.


Signing in to Savonia Moodle

Choose the right option!

Savonia user account
Sign in with this login method if you are a present degree or study path student of Savonia or an open UAS student of Savonia who have paid the tuition fee of the ongoing academic year for 6 or 12 months.

HAKA federation users
Degree students and study path students of other universities of applied sciences than Savonia UAS and degree students of universities use HAKA identifiers in login to Moodle.

Other open UAS students
Sign-in with your banking password, Mobile ID or digital certificate on and activate your identifiers.

Make sure that you keep your username and password safe. If you happened to forget them, it’s possible to login to Account Service again and get new identifiers.

After having activated your identifiers, you can login to Moodle by selecting "Savonia user account".

General instructions:

1. Try to login to Moodle with some other browser.
2. Try to login to Moodle by using private browsing:
- New Private Window (Firefox)
- Safety - InPrivate Browsing (Internet Explorer)
- New Incognito Window (Chrome)
- File – New Private Window (Safari)
- File – New Private Window (Opera)
3. Take the firewall application (e.g. Avast) out of use for the time of login or allow server in the firewall.

Savonia user account
If you have problems with login to Savonia network, please contact Savonia Service Desk by web form or by email or by telephone, tel. 044 785 7088 (from 8 am to 4 pm, ONLY urgent matters).

HAKA federation users
If you have problems with HAKA identifiers, please contact IT administration of your home university.


Finding a course?

If my course is not found in "my courses"

Find the course with the "Search courses" function on the homepage with the course code, name or part of the name.
Log in with the key found in the "welcome" message.
